Internet radio visualizer
Turn an internet radio station into live visuals
Paste the stream address of an online radio station into PulseKani and the visuals follow whatever is on air. Leave it running on a TV or second monitor as moving art for your room.
Which streams work
PulseKani plays direct audio stream links — the kind of address a station lists for use in other players, often ending in .mp3, .aac or a stream port. The station's server has to allow browser playback from other websites; some stations block this, and then the stream will not start.
Station web pages and app links usually will not work. Look for a "listen in your own player" or "stream URL" link on the station's site.
Good for background listening
Calmer scenes such as Liquid Pulse, Particle Nebula and Neon Horizon are designed to move smoothly for hours, so they work well as ambient visuals while the radio plays.
How to set it up
- 1. Find the stream link
Copy the direct stream address from the radio station's website.
- 2. Add it as a source
In PulseKani, open Add your sound, then More sources, paste the link into Internet stream and click Add stream.
- 3. Pick a scene
Choose a scene, switch on Auto-change if you like, and press F for fullscreen.
Frequently asked questions
Why won't my station play?
Many stations only allow playback on their own site, or use a page link rather than a direct audio stream. Try another stream address from the same station, or a different station.
Is the radio audio recorded or uploaded?
No. PulseKani plays the stream in your browser and analyses it locally. Nothing is recorded unless you press Record yourself.
